Let there be Light!!! ~ Amidst the Oaks: LaCanche

Quite a bit of the lighting has been installed and it's starting to feel a little more like a home!!! We're hoping they will start on the wood floors today and then we should be able to move on to punch out and finalizing the landscaping! The girls are so exited about their rooms!!!

These are lights that we salvaged from the demo of the historic Dixie Brewery in New Orleans. We literally pulled over and asked if we could buy them when they were tearing down the building. We got seven of them and put 3 at the garage and 4 on the back porch. Below is a pic of the Dixie Brewery and if you look close enough you can see one of these lights hanging amongst the rubble! Glad to have salvaged a piece of this beautiful historic building!
