Well, after many tanks of gas and weekends driving around, we've found a wonderful neighborhood that appears to be a good fit! It's isolated, but also still close to society with lots of big trees and open space! There also appear to be quite a few kids in the neighborhood!
The only problem is that there aren't very many lots left to build on and the one lot that we have our eye on isn't actually for sale!
